Congratulations on your decision to save for retirement!

To create an Individual(k) plan you must complete and sign the Plan Establishment Kit (PEK).
Once completed, you should print and retain a copy for your records. Ascensus will automatically receive a copy and begin work on setting up your plan.
You will be notified by email once your plan is active. You should expect for your plan to be active, ready to establish your investment elections, and accept contributions within approximately 10 business days.

What you'll need to complete setup

  • Your employer identification number (EIN). If you do not have an EIN, you can apply for one online at IRS.gov
  • Personal information for each business owner/participant including
    • Social Security Number
    • Home address
    • Date of Birth
